I still have my ancient copy of Brave New Worls. I should probably replace it with a hardback copy.

Are you reading 1001 Books yet? How are you liking it? I've added sooooooo many books to my wishlist already! But I'm just browsing, I'm not really reading through every recommendation.

It took me almost 4 months to read Atlas Shrugged....but it's one of the best books ever printed!

My 13 is a mixture of funny and fact this week! I also started my 3rd year of October Halloween Treat hand outs on my blog to all the 'visitors' [trick r treaters] who stop by! Come on over!!!! [You'll need to scroll down a bit below my Thursday Thunks Meme entry to view my 13] Happy day to you....see you at my October Abode!

4 months to read?! Whoa...now I feel daunted! =( Perhaps I'll only read it during the holidays then...

I see you are a Stephen King fan. I have read all of his books and enjoyed almost all ofthem.

Swan Song...one of my most favorite reads! I may just like it better than The Stand.

    Happy TT!
  • Betty · 2 months ago
Wow, you like Swan Song better than The Stand? Now I really can't wait to read it! =)

I'm actually a relatively new Stephen King fan. Only started reading his books since last year, I think...

I used to be a huge Stephen King fan. Not so much now. Happy Reading!
  • Betty · 2 months ago
Yeah, I heard that his older books are a whole lot better than the newer ones, but since I'm new to his books and reading all the old ones now, I think I'm good for a while. =)

Wonderful list of books, several I've already read but I am writing down those I haven't. King has been my favorite author since I snuck into adult fiction in the library and wound up in the K's. The Shining is very scary, and The Stand is my all time favorite.
  • Betty · 2 months ago
I agree, The Stand is my favorite too! But I think I haven't read enough of his books to compare properly. So far, the other 2 stand-outs are The Shining and Gerald's Game, but for different reasons. I hope you enjoy the other books you wrote down. =)

wow i envy your speed and the collection :D
  • Betty · 2 months ago
What speed? LOL! I haven't had the time to read much at all since starting at my new job! =( I usually end up buying them faster than I can read them anyway. ;)
